Weekend

E had to go to work early this morning. He'll be home in about an hour. We got up and went to church. We both are tired today. And we didn't do too much yesterday. We all got our hair cut. P went and got a small computer desk at Wal Mart and put it together to put in the living room. We didn't stay up late or get up too early. But we sure are tired today!

Came home and fixed a big lunch. I was stuffed! It's only been about an hour to an hour and a half and I'm already thinking about snacking! How can that be?

We watched a movie last night that we bought a few weeks ago. It's called Three Wishes. Patrick Swayze is in it, and the little boy from Jurassic Park. It was really good! We're now watching an old episode of Knight Rider. It's been a lot of years since I watched that. This was an episode where the villian looked like Hasselhoff.

It's been hot and dry this week, scattered showers, but we haven't gotten anything. I think they're saying that by next weekend we'll be in that wet cycle again with afternoon thundershowers.

About three more weeks and P will have to be back at school for training before school actually starts. This may or may not be his last year teaching, depending on how things go this year.

Missing our daughter this weekend. We're getting a little taste of what it will be like when our nest is empty! With M in Texas and E off at work, it's quiet around the house. TTFN

I can't believe you need to send M many more clothes. I have bought her two pair of shorts, a demin jacket, a twin sweater set. two pairs of shoes and a skirt. We got a real mattress today for her to sleep on. The boxsprings were full of spiders. We vacumned the mattress, sprayed it with bug spray and left it in the sun all day. We brought it in and put a mattress pad on it and a heavy flannel fitted sheet and then the sheet for her to sleep on. We have made more room in there so she is not just bed wall to wall. She goes to work again tomorrow.
